NEXR Technologies SE: Launch of the innovative FC BAYERN VR EXPERIENCE

VRIDAY, the virtual reality division of NEXR Technologies SE (XETRA: 99SC), responsible for VR experiences and associated software, launches its first VR project today. In cooperation with the European top club FC Bayern Munich, an experience was created that sets standards. On the one hand it makes the history of the world-famous football club a virtual experience, on the other hand it enables a playful interaction with the football stars of FC Bayern Munich on the pitch of the Allianz Arena.

In the Mixed Zone, the stadium’s player arrival and interview area, you can already meet the first stars of FC Bayern Munich. Here the user has the choice between two goals, which lead to other areas of the Allianz Arena and can currently be explored.

During the head ball training, the fan stands on the grass of the Allianz Arena and can complete a head ball training with the players of FC Bayern Munich at different levels of difficulty: Sometimes the ball is thrown, sometimes shot or dispensed by the ball machine.

If you decide for the goal of the Time Tunnel you will be welcomed at the entrance of the FC Bayern Erlebniswelt. Through the Time Tunnel you can see the different stations and milestones of the traditional club. For example, you will find yourself in Café Gisela, where the founding document was signed in 1900. Further milestones will follow, such as the won triple in 2013.

As of today, the FC Bayern VR Experience can be downloaded from the FC Bayern Munich website for the Oculus Rift and Oculus Rift S. If you don’t own an Oculus headset, you can experience the exclusive VR Experience in one of the FC Bayern Munich stores during a roadshow.

“Especially around Christmas time we expect an increased popularity and can thus increase the perception for the VR Experience of VRIDAY and thus also of NEXR itself”, says Markus Peuler, Managing Director of NEXR Technologies SE.

In Munich, the FC Bayern Munich VR Experience can be experienced in the FC Bayern Munich Store on Säbener Strasse on 17 and 18 December and in the Allianz Arena on 19 and 20 December. In the CentrO Oberhausen the roadshow will take place from 23 January 2020 until 25 January 2020 and in the LP12 Mall of Berlin from 30 January 2020 until 01 February 2020 in the FC Bayern Munich Stores.
